HAYM is a homeware and lifestyle store in Carnoustie, providing a carefully curated collection of stylish, quality and unique pieces and products from a range of artists, designers and makers.

 

It is primarily focussed on the work of local homegrown talent from our doorstep and beyond.

 

The contemporary collection is complimented with some sought after and well known design brands, from Scotland and further afield.

The collection aims to be interesting and stylish for those who wish to express their individual personality and style.

 

The name HAYM comes not only from being a play on the Scots word for home but also from the maiden name of the owner and founder Janice Reid (nee HAY!).

Janice studied at Duncan of Jordanstone Collage of Art and Design in Dundee and worked for 15 years as an architect specialising mostly in residential and affordable sustainable housing projects .

Motivated and influenced by her love of her family, her love of her home and her love of design she has opened this independent homeware and lifestyle shop, helping others to make their house their HAYM.
