Heather and Haggis is the brainchild of designer and maker Nic Fishwick. Whilst working in an independent gift shop in Bruntsfield, Edinburgh, she realised that many people were looking for presents that reflected their personal experience of life in Scotland but that nothing already out there quite fitted the bill.

After a lot of research, sketching and drafting, Nic created her first design - a tea towel adorned with the names of streets around that shop - and Heather and Haggis was born.

Heather and Haggis is a contemporary Scottish design business which offers a range of homewares and gifts. All of our designs are inspired by Scotland but we try to move beyond the obvious motifs in order to celebrate what really makes it such a special place for residents and visitors alike. We design everything in-house in our Edinburgh HQ and strive to manufacture here too, but where that is not possible we ensure that our products are made in the UK.
