Jane McCance is the founder and 'maker of jewellery’ at Paper People. She graduated from the University of Dundee and has worked in the jewellery industry since 2009. In her pre-baby career she ran a high-end jewellery brand which retailed in Harvey Nichols and The National Gallery. Her work was worn by Emeli Sande and Emma Thompson as well as being featured in Marie Claire, Woman & Home and iD-Magazine.

Following a few years as a stay-at-home mum, Jane decided that it was time to create a new offering, informed by her established experience and grounded in knowledge that sometimes busy Mamas need a shout out

As a busy Mum of two fab girls Jane was looking for an affordable and easy to wear jewellery solution for her day-to-day style.

However, the options available either felt overly fancy, were poor quality or too expensive. So she went back to her roots and began making designs herself that she knew she wanted to wear and knew other mums would love too.
