Celebrate the twin Munros Mayar (meaning Obscure) and Driesh (meaning Thornbush), located in the Grampian Mountains and spanning both the Angus and Aberdeenshire regions. Commonly climbed together, these popular peaks are beautifully reimagined in Kilo Papa Studio’s vibrant Topographical Map Print.
Part of the contemporary evolution of the Mountain Series, this collection uses bold, complementary colours and layered contours to create playful, poster-style map artwork inspired by Scotland’s landscapes.
Every piece begins with pen and paper. Using Ordnance Survey maps, Kym sketches an aerial contour “skeleton” before scanning and digitally colouring the artwork. The bespoke, carefully balanced palette brings depth and personality to each print — a refined process that takes time to perfect.
