WOODEN POSTCARDS

These lino cut images (made from a series of photographs) of The East Coast of Scotland and Orkney were all taken whilst indulging in a passion for cycling.

'Cycling, for me, is a form of therapy, one which I am more in touch with the world around me; an act that is constantly in flux, always travelling and never static. For this reason, these images seem even more apt to describe where I currently belong. Each location has been part of significant times in my life and are places of escapism I still frequent to this day by bicycle. They are the very places where my family descend from and currently live.
