Carnoustie author Steve Finan is an ex journalist with D C Thomson, Dundee.

He draws upon the extensive materials in the DC Thomson archives to create his series of phot0 led sporting nostalgia books.

There is a collection of football books from the black and white era, including Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen and Dundee United (although I am assured the mighty Dee one is in progress) as is a golfing one, which will be particularly popular in this area.

There are some Scottish football stadiums ones and one for fans of Scottish Rugby. Three paperbacks are also available, these wonderful books pass on Medial Wisdom, Cooking Tips and Household Tips from the 1950s.
